Gary Hall is Vice President of Global Ecosystem Strategic Partnerships, where he leads a dynamic team that focuses on building practices and driving growth with our most strategic global partners. He is also responsible for incubating, developing, and scaling new routes-to-market that reflect a rapidly changing partner landscape and the demands of the AI era. His leadership ensures Cisco will deepen our alliances with Global System Integrators, Managed Services Partners, AI Platform Partners, OEMs, and top global transacting partners.
Before moving to his current role, Gary led Strategy, Planning & Operations for Cisco’s Americas Sales Organization. He also led Cisco’s Americas Strategy & Market Development team, served as the Sr. Director of Strategy & Planning for U.S. Public Sector and U.S. Federal, the Chief Technology Officer for Cisco’s Defense business, and the Chief Architect for Cisco’s Intelligence Community business.
Prior to joining Cisco, Gary held several leadership positions at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) including Metadata Officer, Chief of Voice & Video, and Program Manager for Videoconferencing. He was the Chair of the Intelligence Community Communications Committee Audiovisual Working Group, and the Geospatial Intelligence Standards Working Group Metadata Focus Group. He chaired the Joint Integration and Information Sharing Working Group and was responsible for the creation of the Intelligence Community Common Operating Environment (COE). Gary previously managed Booz Allen Hamilton's One Dulles Systems Resource Center, part of the firm's center for innovation and emerging technology. Prior to Booz Allen, Gary worked for the Immigration and Naturalization Service, the Army Corp of Engineers, and Time Warner.
Gary has served on the Board of Directors for Integrated Systems Events and as an officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors for AVIXA, the international Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association. He is an AVIXA Faculty Instructor, and a Certified Technology Specialist in Design and Installation (CTS-D, CTS-I).
Gary has bachelor’s degrees in communications and English as well as a Master of Science in Technology Management and a Master of Business Administration. He is a regular presenter at government and industry conferences and symposiums.
